Work Completion
Curious as to what your child is working on or if their work is all done? There are multiple layers in the process. We appreciate your support throughout:
- Google Classroom: All assignments are posted on Google Classroom (excluding World Language). Install the app on your phone and have your child sign-in for a quick view, or ask them to show you Google Classroom on any device with internet access. Google Classroom shows:
- Assignment Due Dates
- Student work submitted
- Overdue work
- Other resources used in class
- Homework Slips: If a student does not complete an assignment on time, the classroom teacher will write a "Homework Slip." The slip is giving to the core teacher who creates a plan with the student on how to complete the task.
- Greensheets: Students have each teacher assign their "Greensheet" on Friday. A signature indicates that all work is complete. A circle will be accompanied with an indication of which assignments are missing.
- Parents: Please sign Greensheets and return them on Monday. Check in with your child about missing work.
- Parents and Core teachers create work completion plans to support students with missing work.

FAP Fund
Our campout at Grand Isle State Park was completely funded by the FAP fund. The FAP is looking for each family to contribute a share towards that fund today...
Williston School District and Williston Families as Partners (FAP) made the choice to move away from individual product sales and instead to focus on community-based events as a means of fundraising. This model increases the percentage of money collected that stays in our schools, and more importantly, promotes quality time and connections between family, school and community.
In addition to these community event fundraisers during the school year is the Williston Schools Annual Fund.
Some of the benefits of the fund are:
- Equal funding of all students in each grade-level
- Every student per grade is allocated the same amount of money to be used toward house activities and/or field trips
- House have the flexibility to spend the money in the way that best fits the curriculum and style of the team
- Significantly cuts down on the number of fundraisers families are expected to participate in
- 100% of the money goes to FAP vs 20%-50% with other types of fundraising
- Tax deductible
To make your contribution, please complete the submit a check with the green flyer that was sent home, or CLICK HERE to donate online.
