SBAC Testing Window

Each team at WCS has a different window for completing the state-wide SBAC Language Arts and Mathematics testing this year to help distribute the pressure on WiFi and human resources.  The Swift House testing window is from April 25th- May 6th.  If at all possible, please avoid scheduling appointments or trips during this time.   We will share the detailed daily schedule as our window draws closer.

Portfolios and Conferences

Students have finished organizing their 2nd Trimester e-Portfolios.  Please ask them to share their work and class reports with you.  Students e-Portfolios can be accessed from any device connected to the internet.  They should share five goals with evidence from the second trimester under the headings Academic Goals, Citizenship and Self Direction.

All class reports are under the Reports/Trimester 2 link.  Look for reports from Math, Social Studies, Science, two Literature Groups, Independent Projects and more.  Each report includes self-reflection from the student and feedback from facilitators.

World Language and Related Arts reports have been mailed home separately.    Please contact your son or daughter's core teacher if you're having any trouble accessing your child's work or reports.

Core teachers will be scheduling conferences soon.  We would like students and parents at these meetings as we review successes and look towards next steps.  Please review the e-Portfolio with your son or daughter before the conference.

Basket Raffle

Please send in basket raffle donations by Thursday, March 24th.  Thank you so much for all of the wonderful donations we've had already.  This is one of the biggest fundraisers for the FAP all year.
