Open House- Monday at 6:30 pm

Come one, come all to the Open House at 6:30 pm Monday.  Projects will be set up and ready to go. Be ready to learn about topics ranging from the Cold War to the periodic table of the elements. We look forward to seeing you there!

Swift House Sponsored Dance- February 7th at 6:30 pm

Thanks so much to the folks who signed up to chaperone the dance. Please arrive by 6:15 pm to review the rules for the dance.

We need as many families as possible to bring in items to sell for concessions. We are asking for the following:

• Hunt/Donnelly two 2-liter bottles of juice, soda, etc. 
• Skapof/Laberge- Individually wrapped snack items 

 If you are coming to chaperone you can bring the concessions with you. Otherwise, please send them into Swift house on Friday, February 7th so we can get the concessions set up ahead of time.

Literature Group Snowshoeing Excursion

After reading mountaineering books two inspired literature groups went snowshoeing around the Nature Trail.  They enjoyed the 30 degree temperatures Friday while they tried out their snowshoeing skills.

Fundraising Updates

Thank you one and all for the great turn out at the Marko show. Our profit was $2,034.75!  Next up is the Swift House dance scheduled for February 7th. Top Hat Entertainment has offered their photo booth for kids to have their pictures taken ($3)! We are also planning on having candy grams ($1 each) available for purchase at the dance. In addition to the photo booth and candy grams we will have the proceeds from the concessions that will go towards our trip. Following the dance, we have a Valentine's Day Fun Night scheduled. It would be great to have 2 or 3 other parents help with organization. If you are willing to help organize this event, please contact Kevin or Debbie. That is all the updates for now!
